The piano is actually 5ft. 10in. It plays well, probably better than any we’ve ever had. It has its original finish as well as a green, streaked coating probably put on in the 1960’s. However, since it has its original finish, that coating can be easily stripped or removed. Nevertheless, it does not detract from the value of the piano.

The biscuit box, like the Full tester, ½ tester and Child’s tester beds, came from Twin Oaks Plantation Bed & Breakfast in Eutaw, Al. The box is all original and in great condition save for a block of wood placed under the lid to control what was becoming a split. It is 34in. tall, 33in. wide, and 19.75in. deep.

The wardrobe is in beautiful condition with a magnificent crown. There doesn’t appear to be any damage or loss at all. The doors close easily, and it is easily disassembled. It is, in fact, walnut—instead of mahogany—with burl walnut door panels and walnut ends.
