the South’s Finest AntiquesStevens
Auction Company is proud to announce the commission to offer at
auction the lifetime collection of the late Ken Wadginski of Hollow
Rock, TN. Mr. Wadginski was a decorated, veteran, Marine officer of
World War II, Korea and Vietnam before he retired and moved to Hollow
Rock some 35 years ago.
In the wake of disappearing small
towns all across the South, Mr. Wadginski started collecting
important evidence which proved the existence of these little corners
of history. He gathered up old hardware and drug store showcases, as
well as timeless items from Southern general stores, hotels, train
depots, and other relics in danger of being lost or forgotten. He
also amassed a small collection of antique cars and fine antique
furniture which he stored in some of the remaining buildings of the
ghost town of Hollow Rock.
